    The holiday season is upon us and that means loads of food, shopping and festivities for all ages!

    Regardless of whether you are looking for a beautiful holiday light display, wanting to see Santa Clause or just need a night on the town…Austin, Texas has it all during the most wonderful time of the year!!

    Trail of Lights – Dec. 7-21.  The lights are on from 7-10 every night.  Discover what all the fuss is about and enjoy one of Austin’s most celebrated lighting displays!  www.austintrailoflights.org

    Armadillo Christmas Bazaar – Dec. 16-24.  Check out handmade treasures from 160+ artists while listening to amazing live music each day from 11am-11pm at the Palmer Events Center.  www.armadillobazaar.com

    Blue Genie Art Bazaar – Nov. 28-Dec. 24. This art bazaar features unique items from over 200 local artists from 10am-10pm each day at Marchesa Hall & Theatre.  www.bluegenieartbazaar.com

    Holiday Lights and Ice – Dec. 19-Jan. 4.  Let the whole family take their turn at ice skating on a 4100 square foot rink and enjoy s’mores, games and over 200,000 twinkling lights during this holiday season at the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. holiday-lights-ice

    Horse-drawn Carriage Rides at the Domain – Nov. 29-Dec. 20. Experience a complimentary horse-drawn carriage ride each Friday and Saturday from 5-9pm. Pick-up locations are near Santa's Workshop and at the Macy's north entrance by California Pizza Kitchen.

    Four Seasons Hotel Austin’s Teddy Bear Teas – Nov. 29-Dec. 21.  Join in the holiday festivities with refreshments, caroling, and a reading by Santa on weekend afternoons at the Four Season Hotel. Teddy bears will be donated to Dell Children's Hospital.

    Christmas in the Community – Dec. 5-22. Take advantage of the twelve free Austin Symphony concerts at select locations this holiday season.  These concerts replace the previous holiday tradition, The Christmas Sing-Along. www.austinsymphony.org/christmas-in-the-community

    Ballet Austin’s The Nutcracker – Dec. 6-23. Celebrate the season with this beloved holiday tradition at the Long Center.  www.balletaustin.org/nutcracker2014
