    Freshening Up

So, you’re not in the market to buy a new home this year.  No problem!  We have a list of things you can do to the home you are currently in to give yourself the change you need!

We completely understand how the hum drum of the same old, same old can get boring after a while.  Therefore, why don’t you make some changes that spruce up your home and help the resale value at the same time?

It’s never a bad time to make improvements!!

The easiest and cheapest fix you can make to your home is a fresh coat of paint.  You can paint one room or all the rooms, but this will give you a quick change that will make you feel better about your home in a jiffy!

Secondly, the kitchen is a great place to start when wanting to refurbish your house.  Plus, the changes go a long way towards adding value to your home.

The kitchen renovation can be as easy as adding new hardware to the cabinets and as costly as changing the cabinetry all together.   Other alterations can include granite countertops, new lighting, stainless steel appliances or even resurfacing the original cabinetry.

Bathrooms are another logical choice to transform your home.  Again, it can be as simple as changing the hardware (i.e. faucets, lighting, door handles, etc.) or you can update the shower, tub, vanity and toilet, which will run on the more expensive side.  Furthermore, an easy change is to purchase a new mirror – minimal, yet goes a long way!

Our last (but not least) idea for a home makeover is to get new flooring.  There is nothing worse that old carpet that can outdate your home.  The choices are endless and the change is significant!!

Don’t wait until you’re ready to sell your home to enjoy these renovations!  Pick one and go for it!!!
