Through the sale and/or purchase of real estate, we can assist you to make a financial decision that will give you greater opportunities in the future.
Real estate is one of the safest investments you can make…especially in Austin, where the economy continues to soar and our growth hasn’t slowed down in several years.
Austin has many things going for it. Between the film and music industry, Formula One racing, The Thinkery, The Austin Aquarium, a new medical school, a water park and great industry leaders; Austin is truly one of the best places to live in the nation!
In fact, according to The Milken Institute's annual index of Best-Performing Cities, Austin is the 2013 best-performing metro area due to the booming technology and energy industries.
With this in mind, Austin sellers continue to be at an advantage because of our seller’s market where the demand for homes is higher than the inventory. Not only do sellers get top dollar for their property, but the properties sell quicker than in a slower market.
Of course, the standards for selling homes remain true (location, price and condition), but with the number of buyers looking, the time on the market is greatly decreased. It is important to remember that sellers should always price their homes at or below market value because overpriced homes do not sell in any market.
Even though Austin is enjoying a seller’s market, buyers should not be concerned. Interest rates are still at record lows and real estate is one of the safest and profitable financial decisions people can make. In addition, there are many programs for first-time homebuyers, buyers that are teachers or military personnel, along with tax relief from interest paid on a mortgage.
