    Tis the season for Austin festivals!!

    April is the month when Austinites shake off the last dregs of winter and jump into some outdoor fun and festivities!

    You name it; Austin has it when it comes to parties, festivals, food, music, film, cars, motorcycles, literature, fashion, art, comedy, wine and eclectic activities!  This diverse community brings together the best of every culture and tradition to offer residents and visitors a unique mix of entertainment!

    Fusebox Festival – 4/1/15 - 4/12/15: The Fusebox Festival runs for 12 days in various locations to present a vast selection of theater, dance, film, music, literature, visual and culinary arts. www.fuseboxfestival.com

    Austin International Poetry Festival – 4/9/15 - 4/12/15: Poets from everywhere unite for four days and enjoy live performances, readings and workshops. www.aipf.org

    MOTOGPTM Grand Prix of the Americas – 4/10/15 - 4/12/15: MotoGPTM brings together the best motorcycle racers around the world for a three-day racing series at the Circuit of the Americas. www.circuitoftheamericas.com/motogp

    Austin Fashion Week – 4/10/15 - 4/18/15:  New York has nothing on Austin when it comes to fashion! Located in various locations, Fashion Week exhibits the unique work of fashion designers, photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists and models from around the state of Texas.  www.afw.fashionxaustin.com

    Capitol 10K – 4/12/15: The Capitol 10K runs from Congress Avenue to Auditorium Shores and is Texas' largest 10K race drawing over 10,000 runners. www.cap10k.com

    Old Settler's Music Festival – 4/16/15 - 4/19/15:  Held at the Salt Lick BBQ Pavilion, the Old Settler’s Music Festival showcases Americana, acoustic jazz, blues and bluegrass music; along with arts and crafts,  local food and beverages.  www.oldsettlersmusicfest.org

    The 14th Annual Lonestar Round Up – 4/17/14 - 4/18/14: This annual car show and live music festival is located at the Travis County Expo Center.  You will get your fill of vintage cars and the ultimate hotrods, while enjoying the beat of live music! www.lonestarroundup.com

    Austin Reggae Fest – 4/17/15 - 4/19/15:  The Austin Reggae Fest is a three day reggae festival at Auditorium Shores that raises funds for the Capital Area Food Bank. www.austinreggaefest.com

    Moontower Comedy Festival – 4/22/15 - 4/25/15:  The Moontower Comedy & Oddity Festival is put on by the Paramount Theatre and features well-known comics to local talent at various locations around Austin. www.austintheatre.org

    Cine Las Americas International Film Festival – 4/22/15 - 4/26/15:  The festival presents contemporary films and videos from North, Central, and South America, the Caribbean and the Iberian Peninsula. www.cinelasamericas.org

    Austin Food & Wine Festival – 4/24/15 - 4/26/15:  Sample cuisine from some of the best chefs from around the country for this three-day gourmet festival at Auditorium Shores.  Also, sip wine from all over the world and listen to live music as you taste the delicious fare. www.austinfoodandwinefestival.com

    Art City Austin Festival – 4/25/15 - 4/26/15:  Join local restaurants and artists from around the globe for a weekend of unique craftsmanship and live music. www.artallianceaustin.org

    Eeyore's Annual Birthday Party – 4/25/15:  Check out the live music, food, costume contests and the eclectic locals in Pease Park to celebrate Eeyore's Birthday.  Proceeds benefit many local, Austin non-profits. www.eeyores.org

    The 21st Annual Louisiana Swamp Thing and Crawfish Festival – 4/25/15:  If you like crawfish, than this Cajun festival is for you!  Located in the Austin American Statesman Parking Lot, this festival has more than 5,000 pounds of crawfish, along with a diverse mix of live music.
