    What To Do With Your Holiday Guests

    Staying in Austin for the holidays this year?  You might even have visitors show up over the next two weeks as people travel during the school break!  Nothing like spending the holidays in Austin!!

    Sounds like fun, but what do you do with your family or all of these visitors after the food has been gobbled up?

    Well, we’ve put together a list of a few things to do around the Austin area that can fill up a night or two if you have out-of-town guests or are just looking for something different to do while staying in town this year!

    Mozart’s Coffee Roasters on Lake Austin Boulevard offers a free light show each night until January 4th. Shows start at 6:00pm and are every hour on the hour until midnight and last fifteen minutes each.

    Ice Skating on the Whole Foods Rooftop on Lamar Blvd is open to the community until December 31st from 11:00am-9:00pm each night for $10 per person.

    Santa’s Ranch located at 9561 I-35 North New Braunfels, TX is open until January 3rd and features a drive through over a mile of winding country road with beautiful lights, animated displays, homemade hot cocoa, kettle corn and snacks.  Cost is $28 plus tax per vehicle or $56 plus tax per vehicle for the season.  Maximum vehicle height is eight feet and maximum length is 30 feet.  Trailers, buses, and RVs are not allowed.  Santa's Ranch

    SeaWorld San Antonio celebrates the holidays with a magical program offered through December 31, 2014 – not open on Christmas Day.  Go enjoy stunning live shows in their wintery, watery wonderland. Immerse the family in the spirit of the season, sip hot cocoa while strolling through a sea of sparkling Christmas lights, and share laughs with a jolly Texas Santa Claus. Sea World

    Six Flags Fiesta Texas celebrates the holidays with a different park experience than that found during the regular operating season. Open daily, except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and offers thrilling rides for kids of all ages. Six Flags Holiday Guide

    Austin’s New Year (ANY) is a free event on December 31st from 5:00-10:30pm at Butler Park on Barton Springs Road where the Austin community can welcome in the New Year! ANY is an alcohol-free celebration showcasing Austin's diverse and talented creative community through art, films, and live music. Don’t miss the exciting fireworks finale!

    Austin and the surrounding areas always have a plethora of activities to enjoy!  Don’t miss the fun and maybe even start a new tradition this year!!!
