Wiley Middle is a great school. Nice neighborhoods feeding into school. Would recommend. Elementary and High School also great.

Wiley is a very nice school. I was there for 7th grade and the kids are all great. You definatly won't have any problems with bullying. The only problem I had was that the teachers were stuck up, don't let them walk all over you (some will try) Athletics is awesome and band is really fun. Others have said the school is big but its really not, I think they say that because its the only middle school they have seen. It's easy to get around and you won't get lost EVER after the first week, I don't know how you could. I miss Wiley so much! You're son/daughter will love this school for sure!

I have both good and not so good to say about Wiley. On the good side, I believe by and large the administration and staff are caring and supportive of students and parents. My child especially loves the science and band programs. On the negative side, it is a huge school. My child has experienced bullying, and other unpleasant aspects that go align with Wiley being such a large school. It has not always been great for my son. The school cannot possibly hope to catch every negative incident. They have been responsive when we called on them to be. If you want close individual attention, small class sizes etc., You won't find it here. You will need a private or charter school. However, Wiley has quality, caring staff and administrators, who provide a quality education within the constraints they have to deal with. Also, let's remember, parents are a part of this, equation as well.

I love this school <3 i dont know why parents say the Teachers don't care to stay before and after school, because the teachers do EVERYTHING they can to help the students, (trust me i should know), Wiley has A wonderful athletic department and Fantastic dance team, with lots of extracurricular activities that your child will love, 6th graders don't have alot of say in which classes they can take because its their 1st year of middle school, but 7th and 8th graders have lots of freedom (: If your child tells you bad rumors about this school, they are all wrong! NOTHING is happening in the bathrooms , and the kids at wiley usually like to stride for success and teachers will gladly help them succeed, but if your child doesnt like school then well they're going to lie to you and make the school look bad. Wiley is the bomb.com

I dont like this school. the teachers are unaware and not attentive at all. and this is my 2nd child in this school. there is fighting and the teachers are hardly ever aware. There is also alot of bad things going on in the bathrooms. My daughter has told me some horror stories. the teachers seem to hate doing tutoring.

I attended Wiley for both 7th and 8th grade and was apart of the silver spur dance team.I loved it there the teachers were great and the academics were challenging (in a good way ) sure there were children who did some pretty bad things but they were disciplined accordingly. Only bad thing was that my sister had a problem with a bully and not much was done. Overall a great experience

Fairly new to this school but we've experienced great followup from teachers and staff. We're kept apprised of incidents relating to and around our our children, I like having the information firsthand. The teachers are eager to see their students succeed and seem to be very positive with them which is a plus. Incidents are handled immediately. Our boys are happier then I've seen them in a long time.

We have lived in 3 states before this one and have never had such a negative experience! We have dealt with hoodlum type bullying incidences, and not a whole lot being done about it. The counselor seems to want to bury her head in the sand, and view the victim as one to be irritated with - wasting her time and all... The Assistant principal has no idea what to do about it & doesn't have the firmness it takes to nip it in the bud before the problem grows. It's a pretty rough crowd here. Some shocking stories of alcohol/drug use, and promiscuity. Couldn't believe it was a middle school! Someone there needs to take control before it turns into that school with a rep. no one wants to go to. If you're zoned here - consider homeschooling.

I have mixed feelings about this school. The teachers seem interested in the childrens education only during the school day. They have no interest in early arrival or staying late to help a student in need. There are a few exceptions to this statement, a few of the teachers are wonderful! But just 2 or 3 out of the 20 teachers that I have had experience with.

Wiley Middle School is too strict and should involve some fun.

The one bright and shining star in the entire school is Dr. P. Powell, who is the epitome of a great educator. The teachers and classes were otherwise very average, and the extracurricular programs my children participated in were harried and unorganized. The leadership (esp. from Ms. Flannery, the principal) was inconsistent, sporadic, and uninformed. I would not recommend this school to a friend thinking of moving into the area.
